Autumn Elizabeth Clark is a Chicago-based artist who received her MFA from the University of Chicago in 2015 and her BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2011. She primarily works in photographic media and video, and has shown her work in the Midwest and West Coast. Implementing the language and history of photography to complicate the engagement in a series questions and criticisms surrounding preconceived notions of truth and fact derived from the process of making and viewing photographs. While also studying how such notions of true surround gender and sexuality constructs and how these constructs are then applied to body appearances, objects and language.
